Large-Scale Partnership > About

The EDDIE Association coordinates the Large-Scale Partnership (LSP) on the digitalisation of the energy system, under the European Commission’s Pact for Skills. The LSP is a flagship collaboration to ensure Europe’s energy workforce is equipped with the skills needed for the digital age.
The LSP brings together a diverse alliance of industry leaders, academic and training institutions, research centres, and public authorities. Together, they work to define and implement a shared vision for the digital upskilling of Europe’s energy workforce.
The LSP aims to generate systemic change by aligning education and training programmes with evolving industry needs, promoting lifelong learning pathways, and fostering cross-sector collaboration to ensure no one is left behind in the digital transition. By identifying future skill demands, mobilising funding, and activating national and regional ecosystems, the partnership will serve as a catalyst for a competitive, inclusive, and digitally competent energy sector across Europe.

Upcoming meeting for the LSP on Digitalisation of the Energy System!

We invite you to a meeting on 22 May 2025, from 14:30 to 16:30 CET, focusing on the role of digitalisation in accelerating the energy transition.

The event will bring together experts, professionals, and stakeholders from across the energy field to discuss how digital tools are shaping a more efficient, sustainable, and skilled energy landscape.

The agenda includes contributions from the European Commission, insights based on ENLIT’s recent industry reports, and reflections from leading utility organisations on how to address the sector’s growing skills gap.
